We will be visiting 3 Norfolk Churches, The Old Rectory in Fritton, The Great Hospital, a house in Mount Street, Diss, The houses of North Lopham (and AGM), St Mary’s Farm, Tacolneston and The Elizabethan House in Yarmouth .
19th May – Early Norfolk Churches – vists to Three churches examining reuse of Roman materials and the use of iron-bound conglomerate.
15th June – The Old Rectory, Fritton – visit to an early 16C open-hall house extended in the 17C
5th July – The Great Hospital – a guided tour of the medieval hospital site
20th July – visit to house in Mount Street, Diss (oversubscribed)
3rd August – Tour of the village of North Lopham and 2 houses – preceding the AGM
8th September – St Mary’s Farm, Tacolneston
22nd September – The Elizabethan House and Tolhouse, Great Yarmouth
